  • Responsible forsafety, environmental matters, cost control, production and maintenance for assigned aggregate operations
  • Responsible for mine planning and mining process
  • Create, develop, manage and present production metrics
  • Document production statistics and produce reports as required
  • Supervise production operations; manage team
  • Lead, manage, and develop other managers, Facility managers, QC managers, Transportationmanagers etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining all plant equipment
  • Communicate and participate with local community as required
  • Participate in the capital and operating budget processes
  • Maintain working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives can be met
  • Develop plans to work towards improved performance and lower operating costs
  • Participate on the safety committeeEducationBachelors degree in Engineering preferredRequirements/Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience running an aggregate site
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of surveying
    • Project management experience
    • Commitment to safety
    • Strong computer skills - presentations and reporting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred:
      • Working knowledge of SAP
      • Experience with waterborne transportation an assetConditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
