Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Management Technician to
handle data entry of referral requests and modifications.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter referral information into the data entry system
within specified timeframes
Maintain the correspondence queue and manage modification
requests
Ensure services are kept in-network and with preferred
providers
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Two years of medical assistant experience in a physician office
One year of managed care experience
Experience with Excel, Word, and general computers
Prefer two years of college in general education
