Kurtosys provides asset and wealth managers with a data and content publication platform that enables the construction and distribution of critical sales, marketing, and client reporting materials. WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO:

• Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
  
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to QA teams, ensuring that quality is embedded into every aspect of the software development lifecycle.
  
• Establish and maintain quality metrics and KPIs to track and monitor the effectiveness of QA initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  
• Lead the design and implementation of advanced test automation frameworks and methodologies to maximize testing efficiency and coverage.
  
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related risks and issues throughout the development process.
  
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring that these are reflected in the quality standards and final product.
  
• Proactively identify and address potential quality issues that could impact client satisfaction, ensuring a seamless and positive user experience.
  
• Act as a subject matter expert on QA principles, methodologies, and tools, providing mentorship and coaching to QA team members.
  
• Lead a team of nearly 10 staff, set clear goals, provide appropriate mentorship, and work to develop their skillsets.
  
  THE NON-NEGOTIABLES:
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  
• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of leadership in defining and implementing QA strategies for complex projects.
  
• Extensive experience in test automation using industry-leading tools and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on scalability and maintainability.
  
• Deep technical expertise in software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality-related issues in a proactive and systematic manner.
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  
  NICE TO HAVES:
  
  
• Experience with performance testing and profiling tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
  
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  
• Certification in software testing or related field (e.g., ISTQB Expert Level Certification).
  
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  
• Experience in the Asset Management industry.
