Job Description:
A company is looking for an Intake Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Enter referrals within established timeframes and meet productivity
standards
Communicate with referral sources and ensure documentation is
routed for signature/completion
Review medical records for compliance and work with community
referral sources to obtain necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
One (1) year of experience in healthcare administrative, financial,
or insurance customer services
Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is
preferred
Proficient in navigating multiple online EMR systems
Ability to understand payer guidelines and clinical
documentation
